The prophecy says that 500 years ago, our ancestors lived in another world, shared with other people like us. One day, explorers from a distant country came to visit us. A people much more advanced than us.
They were friendly at first, we cured them of their illnesses upon their arrival, but quickly they turned hostile and it was clear that they wanted to colonize our lands. Somehow we managed to make them flee, but not without difficulty: neither the village chief nor the ambassadors sent to their distant country returned.
It was obvious that they would come back to eliminate us, so the great spirits summoned us: either we stay to face the threat, or we leave for a new world, to become one with the animal kingdom and the magic of spirits, with the guarantee of being left alone for 500 years, in order to come back stronger.
On their next visit, these explorers from a distant land found no trace of the village we called home.
